Platau of Kaas

Kas Pathar is situated 25 Km away from Satara District & 20 Km away from Northern part of Koyana Sanctuary. The place turns into Plateau of Flowers in monsoon. Kaas Plateau has various types of flowers, shrubs and grasses. More than 850 species of beautiful flora and fauna can be seen on the plateau. Different types of flowers bloom at different times of the day.

This Plateau of Flowers never stops mesmerising people with its beautiful landscape and now has become the part of a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site.
